On Wednesday the 10^th of October there was a school Cross Country held in the Town Park in Macroom.  Everyone did very well.  Participating in the girls under 7 race was Jade O’Sullivan, Ròisìn O’Riordan who came 8^th, Ailbhe O’Shea, Moira Leahy who came 4^th and Rachel Kelleher who came 7^th.  In the girls under 8 was Niamh White and Danielle Twomey.  In the Under 9 race was Katelyn Kelleher who came 6^th, Grainne Twomey who came 4^th, Caoimhe Looney and Eireann O’Shea.  In the Under 10 race was Kate Lehane and Shona White who came 6^th, Erin Leahy, Sheila McO’Leary, Moira Twomey who came 8^th and Brìd Cotter.  In the Under 11, we had Aoife Twomey who came 8^th and Sarah Kelleher who won her race.  In the last of the girls, we had Anna Sheehan who did really well in her race also.

In the boys race under 7 we had Noah O’Leary and Tom Buckley and Liam McSweeney, who came 8^th .  In the under 8 race Dylan O’Riordan came 7^th, Thomas Morgans came 9^th and Eoghan O’Brien, Ryan Leahy and Finn Stevenson also participated.  In the under 9 we had Jack Kearney and David Kelleher who came 10^th.   In the under 10 race we had 7^th place by Sean O’Riordan and Peter Murphy, Gearòid O’Brien and Tadhg Sheehan also ran in that race.  In the under 11 we had Adam Leahy and Con Buckley got 4^th place.  In the under 12 we had Aodh Twomey and Olan Cummins.

We all enjoyed our day at the West Muskerry School Sports.
