On Wednesday, October 4th 2017, 40 athletes, 23 boys ad 17 girls from our school took part in the West Muskerry Primary Schools Annual Cross Country. Our medal winners were Jacob Barry 1st, Sèan Cummins 3rd and then Ròisìn O’Riordan, James Twomey, Sarah Kelleher, Lucy Hinchion and Lily O’Shea all came in the top 10 and got medals also.
The race was tough as it was long, hard and the amount of competitors made it harder to get into the top ten and get a medal. Overall there were 617 athletes from 22 schools. Well done to everybody who took part.
