On Thursday 13th of June, the West Muskerry Football Blitz for Primary Schools was held in Ballyvourney. In the Girls Team, we beat Ballyvourney, Ballingeary and Kilnamartyra in the league rounds and reached the final against Ballingeary. Unfortunately we lost the final by 2-4 to 1-2 to Ballingeary.
In the boys team, there were three matches per team and if you got into the final, there was four matches. The boys played well, they came last with 0 points. Ballingeary came 3rd with 2 points, Ballyvourney came second with four points and Kilnamartyra came 1st with six points and won the blitz. All in all it was a good day.
