On the 8th of October, the West Muskerry Cross Country was held in Tom Creedon Park, Macroom. There were 21 boys and 16 girls representing Rusheen N.S. In the girls section, Savannah Cronin came 4th and Bridgín Twomey came 6th in the Under 8 race. In the boys section, Jack Corkery came 2nd in the Under 7, Jacob Barry came 2nd in the Under 10 and James Cuddihy came 3rd in the Under 12. It was a great day for Rusheen N.S.
