On the 3rd of October, Rusheen N.S competed in the West Muskerry Cross- Country in Macroom. We had 21 girls and 22 boys running. The athletes who won medals were, Jacob Barry who came in 2nd place, Seán Cummins who came in 3rd place, Lily Ó Shea who came in 4th place and Lisa Cunningham who came in 5th place. Everyone ran really well. There were about 50 to 60 children in each race. The under 7’s ran 300 metres, the under 8’s ran 400 metres, under 9’s ran 500 metres, the under 10’s ran 600 metres, the 11’s ran 800 metres, the 12’s and over ran 800 metres.
