On the 3rd of December, West Midlands Children’s Theatre Group came to Aghinagh G.A.A. Hall to perform the pantomime “Old King Cole” for Rusheen N.S. There were three performers with different characters. It started with the King’s daughter being sick and the doctor could not heal her. Then the chef’s son went on an adventure to get the coins in “Bear Mountain”. Lots of pupils were picked to go on stage at different times to sweep the floor, dance, play music, join the army and throw parcels. The set was colourful and the costumes were goofy and different. Finally he got back and cured the princess. We had a great time.
