On Tuesday the 11th of June the West Muskerry Blitz commenced in Ballyvourney. The teams consisted of Rusheen, Rylane, Scoil Abán Naofa and Ballingeary. First we played Ballingeary and lost so we had to win our next match to stay in the competition which we did against Rylane. Then we played Scoil Abán Naofa and won that. This put us into the final to play Ballingeary. That match was hard and we lost in the end.
Our girls also competed and beat Ballingeary and Rylane to reach the final. However, they lost to Scoil Abán Naofa. Both Rusheen teams enjoyed the day out and got silver medals.
