On the 14th of March, all of Rusheen School went to see “The Bluebird” in the Hall. There were two men and one girl in the Bluebird Act. All of sixth and fifth class thought the “Bluebird” was great fun. We could tell that the younger ones thought it was great fun too with all the laughing and screaming.
The “Bluebird” was about a prince. In the story, the prince’s father died so he needed to take his place. However the Queen Scarlet was thinking that she could be Queen. The Prince was scared of the Scarlet Queen so he wouldn’t say anything. The Scarlet Queen told him a fake story about the Bluebird (and he believed it). So he set off to different places to look for the Bluebird. On his way he met someone that gave him courage and told him the Bluebird wasn’t real, so he set back home and said to the Scarlet Queen that your not a Queen and I’m not afraid of you. So that was pretty much the story, anyway it was great fun.
