The Junior and Senior Infants examined which materials were the easiest and which materials were the hardest to move by blowing air through a straw. The children played a game of air football using straws and different materials rolled up into a ball. They used skills including predicting, experimenting, observing, measuring and recording.
The Junior and Senior really enjoyed the 5th and 6th class demonstrating the different experiments including Walking Water, Inflating Balloons, Hoop Glinder, Bouncing Balls and Ping Pong Ball Funnel. They were extremely enthusiastic throughout the Show and Tell and they asked the 5th and 6th class several questions about their experiments.
