The children in 3rd and 4th class were very excited to present their STEM work on catapults to 5th and 6th class during Engineer’s Week. The pupils spoke about different aspects of their learning. Their presentation included research on catapults, the different eras in which they were used and details of the designing and making process. The children also got the opportunity to launch a marshmallow from their lollipop stick catapults. The 5th and 6th class were interested and engaged throughout the presentation and the 3rd and 4th class children were delighted with the overall experience.
