Junior and Senior Infants began to investigate how materials may be changed by mixing oil and water
Oil and water do not mix as oil is lighter than water so it sits on top of water when it is added
Adding food colouring and alka-seltzer tablets to the mixture
This created a chemical reaction to make our wonderful lava lamps!
