On Friday 16th of June 2017, we held a fun sports day in Aghinagh G.A.A. pitch. We had fun races like the sack race, sprints, egg and spoon, tennis ball and racket, three legged race and crawling races. In the sprints, first place children got a gold medal, second place got a silver medal and everyone else got bronze.
Marie Ambrose and Mairead Corkery, our famous past pupils and Cork Players, came with the Brendan Martin Cup. We hope they win it again this year.
The Parents Association gave all the pupils ice-cream. We enjoyed the sunny and fun day.
