In Scór na bPáistí 2012, Rusheen had their best year yet!  In the Muskerry Final we got 1st in four acts – quiz, set dancing, novelty act (“The Titanic”) and instrumental group.  We had three sets and they came 1st, 2nd and 3rd.  Rusheen N.S. also won the All Round Cup, i.e. the Denis O’Donovan Memorial Cup.  Only the teams that came 1st got through to the County Semi-Final in Millstreet.  In the semi-final the quiz and set dancing got to the next stage.

The County Scór na bPáistí took place on the 25th of March.  The quiz team of Alex Murphy, Luke O’Leary and Cathal Crowley got third and so did the set which consisted of Elzie Coakley, Ell-Marie Kelleher, Ava Kelleher, Sarah Kelleher, Anne-Marie O’Riordan, Lynn O’Riordan, David Lucey and Luke O’Leary.

Rusheen also won the shield for the best overall club/school in the County participating in Scór na bPáistí.  It was a great achievement and great fun as well.
