On Wednesday the 8th of October, 5th and 6th Class harvested the vegetables in the school garden. We picked carrots, potatoes, turnips, onions and peas. We got to keep some of the extra vegetables to take home because there were lots. Jessie washed them for us and let them to dry. On Friday, Jessie got the vegetables back out to make the soup. Then she got the help of 6th Class to cut up the vegetables. Jessie did the cooking and made the soup. At 12.30p.m. she brought the soup into the class for us to try. Then in pods we went up one by one to get the soup. The soup was really nice.
