On Wednesday the 27th of November, 2019 the Library Quiz took place in Bishop McEgan College at 3.45p.m. Our team was Darragh O’Shea, James Cuddihy, Michael Twomey and John Kelleher. There were 7 rounds altogether. The 7th round was a picture round. There were 10 questions in each round. Some of the questions were.
1/ How long is an Olympic Swimming Pool? 50m
2/ What is the Longest River in Europe? Volga
3/ Who is the Minister for Agriculture? Michael Creed
4/ Cad é an béarla ar madra rua? Fox
The scores were tight but the questions got harder. In the end Kilmurry pulled away and came out on top followed by Scoil Fionn Barra and Dromleigh came 3rd. Rusheen came 5th at the end of the day. We enjoyed the day.
