On the 21st of March, Rusheen N.S. took part in a Hurling Blitz in the Sports Complex in Macroom. Rusheen were split into two teams, Rusheen 1 and Rusheen 2. Rusheen 1 played their first game against Clondrochid. Rusheen 1 defeated them 2-1. Rusheen 2 drew with Canovee in their first game. Unfortunately Rusheen 1 lost against Canovee. Rusheen 2 also lost their second game against Terelton. In the last match for Rusheen 1, they were defeated by Kilbarry. Rusheen 2 lost their last match against Muiefliuch, who went to the final, but they were beaten by Canovee.
