On the 12th of May, Sarah, Liam and Aoife received their First Holy Communion. Fr. Joe O’Mahony and Fr. John Keane were the priests who attended. Our sixth and fifth class pupils sang beautifully in the choir. Ailbhe and Róisín sang the psalm “The Lord is my Shepherd”. Liam, Aoife and Sarah read the Prayers of the Faithful and brought up the gifts. Miss Ambrose had all the ceremony and singing prepared wonderfully and Jessie organised the lovely art work.
We all went up to the hall and had tea, buns and sandwiches thanks to the Parents Association. It turned out to be a lovely day and everyone enjoyed themselves.
