Well done to all the Rusheen National School Athletes who competed so well in the Cork Primary School Sports at the CIT complex on Wednesday, June 6th. Róisín O’Riordan won the under 13 sprint in the girls section and Leah Kearney came 3rd in the under 12 sprint. Jacob Barry won the boys under 9 sprint and also got through to the County Final where he performed admirably. Our relay team of Róisín O’Riordan, Rebecca Morgans, Leah Kearney and Ailbhe O’Shea did very well to come 3rd in the girls relay.
