On Friday 25th of May, the Rusheen N.S. Book Fair for 2018 was held. On Monday 21st, four book trolleys arrived along with a box of bargain books and stationery. Each class got to look at each trolley once before the book fair. The book fair began at 12.30p.m. with 5th ad 6th Class. Each class got about half an hour with the books. The book fair ended at about 2.30p.m. and in the two hours it lasted, the school managed to raise €2,006.30. Rusheen School will now receive books to the value of €1,203.78. Many thanks to Mr. Twomey, Miss Ambrose, The Teachers, Jessie, Maura O;Riordan and all of 5th and 6th Class for their help with the day. Pupils dressed up in their costumes and there were some great ones like “The Mad Hatter”, “Goldilocks and The Three Bears”, “Cereal Man”, “The Chip Monks”, etc.
