Olive Mooney came to our school on Tuesday 25th of January to show us some books she wrote. “The Chronicles of Cadaver College”, “The Curse of Halbizia and The Book of Ornis”. After introducing herself, she showed us her books and read two chapters to us. Then we had a chance to ask her lots of questions. These are some of the questions we asked her.

She answered all our questions and she gave some signed posters away for the best questions. Eoin O’Reilly and Murron Stevenson won them. She gave us great creative writing tips and encouraged us to write stories. We told her about our “We are Writers” book that we do every second year. We enjoyed her visit and we were very happy when our school bought ten of her books for us to read. We are looking forward to reading them.
