Rusheen N.S. held it’s Bingo Night on the 28th of February in the G.A.A. Hall. There was a huge crowd of people there. The prizes for the bingo were – if you got a full line you got €20.00 and if you got a full house you got €50.00. At the end of the night there were a lot of prizes given out. There was also a children’s raffle which had white tickets and an adult raffle which had coloured tickets. The bingo was held by the Parents’ Association and a lot of companies sponsored and donated money for the bingo. Some of the winners in the Bingo were James Twomey, Jack Kearney, Ailbhe O’Shea, Sarah Cuddihy, Róisín O’Riordan, Lily O’Shea, Gearóid Twohig, Eileen Noonan, Helen O’Brien, Angela Kelleher and Marion Kelleher. Julie Carroll won the Jackpot Prize of €150.00. Some of the raffle winners were Eadaoin Kelleher, Luke Ring, Darragh O’Shea, Margaret Lehane, Brenda Cummins, Paddy Finnegan, Sheila Hartnett, Michael Corkery, Tom Carroll, Kitty Corkery and Caroline Corkery.
