During November 2012, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th Classes decided to do the Shoe Box Appeal.
This is how we created our shoe boxes:
- · We got a shoebox at home.
- · We put in sweets, copies, biros, pencils, rubbers, sharpeners, small teddies, toothbrushes and tooth paste,
soap, etc.
- · After we put all that in, we put on the wrapping paper, put on the cover and put the elastic band around it.
- · We sent our shoe boxes off to the Lifetime Lab and then they sent them to Tanzania on the 12th of Dec.
- · The shoeboxes with the presents inside were given to needy children on Christmas Day.
- · It was fun creating our shoe boxes to help others for Christmas.
