SKIPATHON 2012

Yesterday, 21st of March, at Rusheen N.S. the Skipathon took place.  All 5th and 6th Class pupils participated.  We all went out for one hour in the morning and practiced all types of skipping.  Then we broke into groups of 2 or 3 and skipped outside for 15 minutes each.  We did all sorts of skips such as back-to-back, backwards skipping, side to side and much more.  Some people had two people swinging a rope while the other did push-ups into the air over the rope!  At two o’clock Master Coakley took everyone out to do skipping until 3 O’Clock and everyone had fun as well as helping people in the 3rd World.  We would like to give thanks to anyone who sponsored us skipping.  We will give the money we raised to Fr. Pat Kelleher, St. Patricks Missionary Society.
