On the 6th of March, a Theatre Group called Clan Cluana came to Rusheen N.S. There were three people in the group. They did an excellent story about Diarmuid and Gráinne. Some of the characters were Diarmuid, Gráinnne, Moobin, Dog, Cat, Cheranluchtalucht, Fionn and Oscar.
The storyline is that Gráinne was going to be married to Fionn but she fell in love with a warrior named Diarmuid. Diarmuid and Gráinne ran all across Ireland with Fionn chasing after them. In the end, Diarmuid was badly wounded by a wild boar and Fionn refused to heal him. Then Diarmuid died. It was an excellent show and very funny at the end. I would like them to come again and perform for us.
