GIRLS WHO RAN IN THE WEST MUSKERRY CROSS COUNTRY

The West Muskerry Cross Country was held on the 21st October, 2009 in the Town Park, Macroom.  There was a lot of practice in the weeks before hand.  We left school at 12.30p.m. and when we arrived at the Town Park the races started.  The runners from Rusheen were as follows:-

Under 7 boys    –  Gearóid O’Brien, Sean O’Riordan, Peter Murphy and Adam Kelly
Under 7 girls.    –  Erin Leahy, Kate Lehane, Moira Twomey and Síle McO’Leary
Under 8 boys    –  Adam Leahy and Con Buckley
Under 8 girls    –  Adrianne Lynch, Sarah Kelleher and Aoife Twomey
Under 9 boys    –  Olan Cummins, Luke O’Leary and Alex Murphy
Under 10 boys        Micheál Coakley
Under 10 Girls        Caoimhe Cotter and Niamh Looney
Under 11 boys        Adam O’Leary and Shane Corkery
Under 11 girls        Shauna Burns and Michelle O’Callaghan
Under 12 boys        Ted O’Leary, Peadar Twomey, Donagh O’Riordan and Denis
Coakley

The medal winners for Rusheen N.S. on the day were:-  Sarah Kelleher (1st), Peadar Twomey, Caoimhe Cotter, Síle McO’Leary and Sean O’Riordan(2nd),  Michelle O’Callaghan and Con Buckley (3rd.).

Well done to all participants who ran in the Cross Country 2009.
