Rusheen N.S. are competing in the Roinn F7 grade in Sciath na Scol.  We got off to a flying start with a big win over Coolea.  We then fell behind in games so we had to play a mini blitz between schools.  We travelled to Blarney via bus.  We played Gaelscoil Blarney first.  We beat them well, the score was 5.5 to 1.3.  Next we faced a strong Cloughduv side.  After the first half  they were up 1.4 to 0.0 however in the second half Rusheen battled back  but fell short at the line.  The final score was Cloughduv 2-6  Rusheen 2-1.  Rusheen now face a semi-final away from home, probably next week.

Rusheen played their Sciath na Scol Semi-Final against Aghabullogue recently.  It was a great game of football.  Rusheen lead at half time by 1-4 to 0-5.  Rusheen were a goal down going into the last minute of the game but hit the post three times and were very unlucky not to get a draw.  The final score was Rusheen 3-5 Aghabullogue 2-11.
