On Tuesday 16th of June, Rusheen N.S. hosted its annual Green Day. It commenced at 12:30 p.m. The Junior Pupils performed and then the speeches started. Oisìn O’Neill from 6th Class made the first speech and told us all about the Green School Committee. Guests on the day were Dr. Mary Stack from Cork County Council and Briege Corkery who raised our Green Flag. After the speeches we performed our Green Code. The party that followed was enjoyed by all. The pupils had hot dogs and the adults had tea sandwiches and cakes.
