SKIPATHON
On the 24th of March pupils from 5th and 6th class did a fundraising skipathon. We raised money for the Medical Missionaries of Mary. We did the skipathon over two days and did all sorts of skips. In the end we raised €900.00. We are looking forward to Sr. Joan Corkery visiting our school. Sr. Joan is the Congregational Leader of the Medical Missionaries of Mary and is a past pupil of Rusheen N.S. Her relation, Moira Twomey, is in 6th Class.
We enjoyed raising the money and we know it will go to help those who are less well off than ourselves.
