National Tree Week

General NewsComments Off on National Tree Week

Last Autumn while on a Nature Walk, we collected conkers.  We planted them in pots and put them in our Greenhouse for the Winter.  We watered them regularly and they started to shoot in early March.  Now it’s “Tree Week” and some of the horse chestnuts have developed leaves.  When they grow bigger, we will take them home to plant outdoors as horse chestnuts are huge trees and need lots of space.
