Rusheen National School had a total of 26 runners in the West Muskerry Cross Country which was held in the Town Park in Macroom on Wednesday, October 12^th .  It was a lovely autumn evening and we had a great afternoon.  Three of our pupils, Katelyn Kelleher, Sarah Kelleher and Con Buckley all came first in their races.  Gráine Twomey came 2^nd and Shona White came 3^rd for the girls.  Naimh White, Caoimhe Looney, Aoife Twomey and Sean O’Riordan also won medals.  Others who ran and were unlucky not to get medals were Èireann O’Shea, Sheila MacO’Leary, Erin Leahy, Adrianne Lynch, Dylan O’Riordan, David Kelleher, Adam Ring, Jack Kearney, Peter Murphy, Adam Kelly, Cathal O’Riordan, Gearóid O’Brien, Luke O’Leary, Simon Kelly, Olan Cummins, Aodh Twomey and of course myself, Dion O’Sullivan.
