On the 17th of June we had our West Muskerry Football Blitz in Ballingeary. It was a scorching day for football. We were very successful. We entered a boys’ team and a girls’ team.
In the boys we beat Kilnamartyra and Ballingeary but lost to Ballyvourney. We also lost to Ballyvourney in the final 3-5 to 1-4.
The girls beat Ballyvongane and Ballyvourney in the league but lost by 2-4 to 1-3 to Kilnamartyra in the final.
We were very happy with our performanes.
