Team Hope Christmas Shoebox Appeal 2011

General NewsComments Off on Team Hope Christmas Shoebox Appeal 2011

During November Team Hope did a Christmas Shoebox appeal and Third, Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Classes from Rusheen N.S. took part. First what we had to do was get a shoebox and wrap it in Christmas wrapping paper. Then we could put things into the boxes for children in Africa and Eastern Europe. Then Team Hope will ship the boxes to Africa or Eastern Europe and when the boxes get to the places where they are going, children that are less fortunate than us can have a good Christmas. We also got a pamphlet that said what we could and could not put into the box. There were 3 W’s that we could put in, i.e. Write, Wow and Wash. We put things like pencils, erasers, sharpeners, toys, treats, sunglasses, toothbrushes, toothpaste etc. in the boxes.
