CORK PRIMARY GAMES

I was picked to represent my school by going forward for two trials for the  Co Primary Games Team. I got an email a couple days after my first trial saying I had got through to the next trial and then went for my next trial in the 4G pitch in Páirc Chaoimh. Around 2 weeks later I got another email saying I got picked for primary games! I was really excited and got another email saying we had to go for a photo of the whole team in Páirc Uí Rinn, there we were told when all about the team, where we would be playing and the transport and tickets. Each family got two tickets for free and the players got their own tickets too. Our game was fixed for the 15th of May in Walsh Park ,Waterford and I woke up at 7 because we had to be outside the Opera house by half 8.We got there at half 8 and saw a few people I knew. Then we were told the bus broke down! We got on the bus at 9:15 and went to Waterford. When we got there we went upstairs to the bar and had a room for food like biscuits and chicken nuggets. After that we got our jerseys and gear and went to a field to practice for the match. We then walked down to Walsh Park and got to our seats. The senior game was intense and then it was half time and we ran on the pitch and started our game, I was mid field. In my match I scored 1 point and 1 goal. When our game was over we went to our seats again and watched the rest of the game and Cork won! After the game we went home with our parents. It was a really great day out.
