On the 28th of April, 2010, pupils from Rusheen, Ballinagree and Ballynamorrive received the Sacrament of Confirmation in St. John the Baptist Church in Ballinagree at 11.00a.m. Forty two pupils got their Confirmation altogether, 28 from Rusheen N.S.

We all participated in the ceremony singing hymns, reading, playing violins and tin whistles and bringing gifts to the altar. We made a beautiful Confirmation Shield. It shows all the important things in our lives from our homes, schools and communities. Fr. Roberts was Minister of Confirmation and he told us that from now on “We will never walk alone”.
