We have been working on our Christmas song project for a while now. The song was written last year by Ms. O’Mahony, 6th class recorded the vocals in March and the whole school was involved in the video production in recent weeks. And the good news is, that it is finally complete! It has been a fantastic experience for all involved to see the project through from start to finish and we can’t wait for you to see and hear the end result!
We really wanted to do something worthwhile and make our efforts count and so we have decided to use the song as a fundraiser. We have chosen two charities, Cork Penny Dinners and the Children’s Unit at CUH. We have set up a GoFundMe page to facilitate this. We are so excited, following what has been a challenging year for all, that we can play a big part in helping others, particularly at this most special time of year.
We are hoping to generate as much excitement and interest as possible in our Christmas appeal, so we are looking for your support and we would ask you to please share both links so that as many people as possible can share in the joy of the smiling faces of our wonderful pupils and so we can raise as much money as possible for two very deserving charities.
